What we collect
Server logs. The address your connection came from, the page requested, the time and your browser type, kept for a short time to run and secure the site.
Places you search for. A place typed into the map's search is looked up on OpenStreetMap's Nominatim service by our server, not by your browser; Nominatim sees our server's address, not yours.
Your location. If you press the location button on the map, your browser's position is drawn on your screen and goes no further; it is not sent to us.
Weather radar. If you turn on weather radar in the map's options, your browser fetches the radar pictures from the Iowa Environmental Mesonet, which sees your connection's address as any website would.
There are no accounts and no advertising.
Stations shown on the site
The map shows amateur radio positions, objects and weather reports that operators transmitted publicly and that the APRS-IS network relayed: a callsign, a position, a symbol and whatever comment the operator chose to send. To have a station removed, write to support@axelstack.com with the callsign.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you and have it corrected or deleted. Write to support@axelstack.com.
